Why a wedding at Casale Doria Pamphilj is so sought after?

This magnificent venue is located in an ancient village outside of Rome. The Casale is located within the historic Doria Pamphilj estate surrounded by nature set in the picturesque landscapes of the Roman countryside.

It was purchased by Olimpia Maidalchini Pamphilj, sister of Pope Innocent X and administrator of the Pamphilj estate. A carefully restored old granary has now become an intimate shabby-chic style location ideal for receptions, business meetings and short relaxing breaks in Rome. It is possible to celebrate civil wedding ceremonies in Rome, in a secluded romantic corner of the garden or by the pool, with the magical sunsets that light up the hills of Lazio as the backdrop.

The bride & groom of this beautiful Rome wedding got ready at the amazing suites at Casale Doria Pamphilj.

The couple did their first look in front of stunning old staircase and the ceremony took place in the garden. After the ceremony, the gelato cart was a hit! Slowly the guests moves for aperitivo & cocktails in the internal garden of the estate.

Groom getting ready

My second photographer started the wedding day by walking into the groom's room at Casale Doria Pamphilj. The groom was getting ready and is about to put on his bohemian green suit. He took photos of the groom putting on his necktie & suite, with the help of his siblings. They are all in great mood! After he is finished , he moves over for some photos in the garden, and then proceeds to get his place for the First Look.

At the bridal suite, the bride is almost finished with her hair and makeup. I took some details photos of the jewelry, shoes & bouquet. After that we took some playful photos with her friends & family & some stunning photos of her alone. She put on her dress with the help of her friends and we took some photos alone in the garden. The bride is wearing a romantic dress and has an elegant headband with pearl earrings. She was perfectly ready to meet her husband to be for the first look

Wedding Ceremony at Casale Doria Pamphilj

The garden in Casale Doria Pamphilj is stunning. For the nave (aisle), they had bouquets of white flowers & lots of greenery, and stools with white cushions and exposed wooden legs. The wedding ceremony is emotional & romantic. The violinist accompanies the couple in this special moment.

Once they are married and the ceremony concludes they do their grand exit. Friends and family are by their side and are blowing bubbles playfully as they exit. The couple proceeds for gelato as it was a really hot day! Soon after, the guests & couple move over to the internal garden for cocktails & aperitivo. It was time for an amazing al fresco cocktail party at casale Doria Pamphilj.

The Couple Session & wedding reception

In the middle of cocktail hour, I took the couple for some bridal photos, at some amazing spots of Casale Doria Pamphilj. We did some family photos and we move over for the couples entrance & first dance. They danced on the lawn of the internal garden of Casale Doria Pamphilj.

After the couple has their first dance, he have a mother - son and a daughter - father dance. We quickly move over for the dinner and speeches. Everyone is sharing stories with the bride & groom and proposing toasts.

The reception area is beautifully decorated with greenery & white florals from La Primula. The couple plays "The Shoe Game" with the help of bride's best friend.

The wedding reception was an Al Fresco one, in the gardens of Casale Doria Pamphilj. There were wooden imperial tables with off white chiffon table runners , decorated with greenery along the entire length and glass and gold terrariums as centerpieces. The chairs of the newlyweds were decorated with wooden "Mr" and "Mrs" chair signage. After dinner was finished, the guests move over for the cake cutting & the dessert buffet.
