I'm Anastasia from Moments To Keep Wedding Photography, and I’ve had the privilege of capturing lovers all around Greece and Italy—but this one was clearly one of my favorites as the couples chic aesthetic, and bold personalities was something I wont forget.
A Timeless Background for a Modern Couple
Athens is a location where couples all over the wall love for their couple session as the Charm of Antiquity is prominent in these beautiful buildings. With its National Library, Plato's Academy and bright sunny days, the area offered us the perfect environment for truly editorial & timeless photos.

Editorial Vibes, Classic Lines.
For this prewedding session, Alexis channeled her inner Greek goddess. The couple wanted artistic images with a touch of documentary approach.
No traditional smile at the camera shots, no corny prom poses—just photos that show their true selves and their connection.
After we got all those incredible shots, it was time for their Prewedding Party at Muse Urban Venue with a view on the Parthenon, enjoying the night with their closest people.

Advice for Planning Your Pre-Wedding Shoot in Athens
If you're planning a pre-wedding shoot in Athens, especially in a place with Neoclassical Architecture, here's some advice:
Fashion: Quiet, timeless clothing - no bold colors, and preferably long pants for the gentleman
Locations: My personal favorite is the National Library & Plato's Academy. For a view of the Parthenon, you may take a look at the Observatory.
Photographer's Expertise: A local, experienced photographer with an editorial approach is the best fit for this type of session. As the founder of Moments To Keep photography I am skilled in capturing your love in a timeless way, with raw emotion and careful organic posing.
Time: About 1 - 1.5 hours before the sunset you have the best light for this kind of session. However in this stunning gallery the couple opted for an early evening shot for some high contrast between light and shadow!
