I absolutely fell in love with Château De Tourreau. A prestigious setting in Provence, the estate’s outdoor areas offer several possibilities : in the middle of the French gardens, in the heart of the grounds or around our swimming pool.
Luxury Château In Provence
In 1612, the bourgeois Tourreau family from Avignon acquire a plot of land located in Sarrians. In 1614, the chapel is built here along with a first building. Two generations later, between 1750 and 1770, François Benezet de Tourreau build the Château based on plans from the architect Brun. Surviving the French Revolution, during François Paul Benezet de Tourreau is a Grey Musketeer in the service of the King of France, and resisting the ups and downs of the age, the property has been improved over the centuries …

Arriving by the north gate, the lions, that are the Tourreau family’s emblem, dominating the imposing grille. You enter the estate via the main avenue lined by Provence cypress trees and the building in the distance, all surrounded by a wooded park. An orchard and a vegetable garden follow in succession and, on the other side of the Château, French gardens give way to an English garden with a fountain at its center surrounded by several bridges, or streams brimming with koi carps and a variety of fishes. 20 acres of grounds with many different plant varieties await you.
