Tips for Planning an emotional After Wedding Photoshoot.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Planning for your big day can be overwhelming, but have you thought about what comes after the wedding? Many couples are opting for an emotional after wedding photoshoot, also known as a “day after” or “trash the dress” session.

This year we were a part of a beautiful After Wedding Session for our couple Morfoula & Peter. We chose a beautiful green park in Athens. We were so inspired with the chemistry of the two! It absolutely got depicted in photos!

These photos are a great way to capture the excitement and joy of being newlyweds without the stress and time constraints of the wedding day. In this blog post, we’ll share some tips for planning an emotional after wedding photoshoot that you and your partner will cherish for years to come.

Choose the Right Photographer

First and foremost, you’ll want to choose the right photographer for your after wedding photoshoot. Look for someone who has experience with these types of shoots and whose photography style aligns with your vision. Schedule a consultation to discuss your ideas and make sure you feel comfortable with the photographer. Remember, this is a time to let loose and have fun, so you want someone who can help you feel at ease.

Pick a Location

The location you choose for your after wedding photoshoot will set the tone for the entire session. Consider choosing a place that’s meaningful to you as a couple, such as the spot where you had your first date or where your partner proposed. Or, you may want to choose a location that offers stunning scenery, such as a beach, park, or mountainside. Just make sure you have permission to shoot there if it’s a public location.

Have a Concept or Theme

Having a concept or theme for your after wedding photoshoot can make it more fun and memorable. Consider incorporating props or decorations that represent your interests or personalities as a couple. Or, you could go for a specific vibe or theme, such as a vintage-inspired shoot or a romantic picnic in the park.

Be Prepared

Make sure you’re prepared for your after wedding photoshoot. Bring plenty of water and snacks, especially if you’ll be shooting outdoors. Consider bringing a change of clothes, touch-up makeup, and hair products to keep your look fresh throughout the session. And don’t forget to communicate with your photographer ahead of time about any special requests or ideas you have.

An emotional after wedding photoshoot can be a great way to celebrate your new marriage and create lasting memories. By following these tips, you’ll be sure to have a fun and successful session that captures the love and happiness of your special day. Congratulations again, and happy planning!
